AG2 v1.0 : release date announcement

Hello all,

We are very proud to announce that AG2 will be released on the 15th or the 18th of January. This means something like a week of patience for you.

To help you wait, here are the gauss models as well as the egon models :

There are some people we are really thankful for. Without their hard work, support and motivation, AG2 would never have been a reality. They've catched over the month no less than 105 bugs with valuable feedback on how to reproduce bugs and retest to ensure the fixes do not create some side effects. They have also proposed valuable enhancements to the mod.

Here you are guys (in alphabetical order) :
  • boshed : modeling, texturing, remapping and testing

  • keefy : deep testing and enhancements

  • skaruts aka Lich : egon model and testing

  • The Dog : testing

  • [TSF] Rav : testing

You've all done an incredible job. Thanks again guys.

Spread the words
We need to enlarge the player base. This mod does include both regular and a fast paced mode for the sake of everyone's pleasure. AG2 is bug free which also means that the bugs that are in the original regular HL2DM from VALVe have all been fixed. As you all know, AG2 also brings a lot of advanced features for managing matches as well as servers and also includes many game mods.
Well, we count on you :-)

PS : some guides will have to be updated to be compliant with AG2. That will be done soon.

sorry guys.. but "new" models it's epic fail, imho
gauss and egon weapon skin looks very old... hl1 textures? :[
model of gauss very big =| on 1\4 display.. not cool
etc.. models must be change on better sooner or later

to release it in soon 2-3 months they should make all xen levels..I think you'll see it only in summer.. I for example am not waiting it for any more..

OK, code updated in order to have hldm:s maps compliant with AG2 (including entities and func). But you must own hldm:s coz of textures.

I'm very happy to see that ag2 will be real in about one week ! I played so much on the first ag, lets hope that the "feeling" is near the original one + improvment lächeln

You'll have trigger which won't work like pushing a button for example.
Also supercharger won't work due to the fact it does not work the same way at all.
